Notes: Part of a rare group of 19 American Flamingos feeding in Lake Ingraham in the extreme southwestern corner of Everglades National Park. While flamingos were formerly common in south Florida, they have been only casual visitors in recent years. These birds are thought to have come to Florida from either Cuba or the Yucatan.
